Shipyard Staffing is currently hiring for Production Supervisors for work at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA.

• Must have a fully adjudicated Secret clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Job Description:

• Duties include but are not limited to having the overall responsibilities of detailing, briefing, and timekeeping of a various group of individuals in moving large and heavy equipment, components, and tools for shipyard and ships force in a timely manner.
• As a supervisor you will oversee, identify, organize and supervise the removal and installation of large components.
• Supervise the maneuvering of industrial equipment for the transfer of goods and material onto piers and boats in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform general maintenance of such equipment as required.
• Responsible for developing, teaching, communicating and leading by example to help employees that are assigned to establish, build, and maintain good leadership qualities.
