Lehigh University, a prestigious institution in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our athletics staff as an Associate Coach for the Women's Basketball team. This is a full-time, exempt staff position that offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the success of our NCAA Division I program. As an Assistant Coach for Women's Basketball, you will work closely with the Head Coach to shape the future of our competitive program. Your role will encompass various aspects of managing a top-tier basketball team, including recruitment, player development, and ensuring academic excellence among student-athletes. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive team culture, upholding university values, and promoting compliance with all NCAA, conference, and institutional regulations. Position Number: S89160 This position is a Grade: 8 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $46,870-$56,250 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications. Key Responsibilities ⢠Assist in planning and conducting practices, skill development sessions, and game preparation. â¢Â Support the Head Coach in all phases of recruiting, including identification, evaluation, and communication with prospective student-athletes. ⢠Assist with program operations, including travel arrangements, scheduling, and equipment management. ⢠Represent the womenâs basketball program in a professional manner both on and off campus. ⢠Contribute to competitive success through scouting, opponent preparation, and execution of effective practice plans.
